Introduced earlier this year, Intercharge is an ambitious e-roaming European charging network. The goal is to allow electric car drivers to charge their cars wherever they happen to be, near their home or in another region or country, without worrying about registration or payment. They just have to be identified as a Hubject customer, and they receive one single invoice at the end of the month.
Hubject is a German initiative, but it has quickly grown to Belgium, Austria and Finland. It has just signed a deal with the CleanCharge network from Denmark. With CleanCharge also managing chargers in Norway and Sweden, it is now possible to drive and charge all over Northern Europe with a single electricity card.
